When we are not blogging, we are actually doing furniture removals, including this removal from Nottingham to Near Bushmills, Co. Antrim, home of the famous Whiskey, and now home of the Fergie Tractor that we delivered, as part of the customers belongings.
We have had yet another demand from NGRS, or at least the so called Guild of rRemovers and Storers solicitors, CWD, insisting that we have to disclose all our correspondence with other furniture removers which led up to those removal companies providing us with affidavits which give the facts of their own experience at the hands of the so called guild.
McCrorys Removals Ltd have already made it clear that such ‘third party correspondence’ is not relevant to their claim, and, that since ngrs have attempted to threaten McCrorys Removals and others with repeated pre legal action letters alleging defamation, we also object to disclosing this information, if any, on the grounds that it would be self incriminating, and that this demand for disclosure is only a pretext, to attempt to gain confidential material, which could in turn be potentially used in further profitable claims against ourselves and others.
We will continue to refuse to feather the nests of NGRS and CWD and have instructed our solicitors Backhouse Jones to this effect.
The latest letter from CWD to our solicitors is attached as a pdf below, and shows that they are still as intransigent as ever.
McCrorys Removals Ltd have instructed our solicitors to make NGRS/CWD aware that we will be seeking all costs related to such applications.
It will be interesting to hear the judges opinion on 10th June.
Will keep posted.
