Ever wondered how to spend punts?

The earliest Irish Coinage dates back over a thousand years, with an Pound being equal to twelve shillings then.
And in 1938 the new Irish Pound or Punt was introduced which continued in circulation until it ceased to be legal tender in 2002, being then replaced by the Euro.

But, no one seems to have told Sean McCrory about this, and not only does he still accept Punts in payments, he actually advertises to buy any amount of Punts and will pay Euro or Sterling in exchange for them.

Look out for Sean’s vintage van in the Ballyshannon area of Co. Donegal with the advert ‘Reward for Punts’
