Believe it or not, this box was just one of the items that our customers packed and expected us to lift, maneuver, and move to their new home.
When our removal clients ask us advice, when considering doing a self pack, we would often advise that each box should be a manageable weight, and ensure that the boxes are packed full but not bulging but perhaps we should also emphasise that the dimensions of the boxes should be sensible too.

The boxes should also be strong enough to take the weight of the contents.

Another useful piece of advice might be that it is better to use more, but smaller boxes, especially if a long walk or stairs are involved in the loading of the removal lorry.
