McCrorys Removals Gifted at furniture removals to Ireland
Why Gifted at furniture removals to Ireland ? Today we enjoyed moving our customer from his village home overlooking the Derbyshire Peak District to Co Mayo, and they were so happy with our service that we got presented with a special bottle of whiskey.
The whiskey will be generously served to visitors at our office, as an ingredient of our Irish Coffee.
And we could not leave the area without taking some photos of the famous Cathedral of the Peaks, which is not really a cathedral, but is so impressive that it has been given this title.
It dates from the 14th Century and replaced an earlier norman church.
And it is a Grade 1 listed building.
In Churches and Chapels in The County of Derby, Rawlins described St John's as being:
without exception the most perfect and beautiful specimen of pointed architecture to be found in the County, - or perhaps in any other parish church of its size in the entire Kingdom.
So I am not the only admirer of this unexpected gem, in the middle of the Derbyshire Peak District.
