Kent to Galway removal

A customer having lived most of her life on the Isle of Sheppey, booked this Kent to Galway removal with us
The last time McCrorys Removals worked on the Isle of Sheppey would have been more than half a century ago.
And, now we happen to do two removals from Sheerness to Ireland within the same week!
Close by our customers address was a pub called The Ship On Shore.
And attached to the pub, is a folly, which has been built to resemble a ruined medieval fortress.
It has in fact been constructed, using the recovered cargo from a shipwreck which foundered in a storm in 1848, and the coastguards used the cargo of Cement barrels etc and an assortment of rocks to build themselves a simple shelter, which they crowned by the ship's masthead, although this is now missing.
When the adjacent Pub was built, it was given the current name.
And the structure has become a bit of a tourist attraction.
